Kirby J. Winters is a leader in product application development and information technology security with executive positions across numerous industries. His key areas of focus, include: Technology Product Management and Operations, Information Security Certifications and Stewardship, Assessment & Due Diligence, Web Product Design and Architecture, Mobile Application Development Management, and Interim or Fractional CTO/CISO/COO.

Kirby’s experience in higher education, telecommunications, legal and health technology systems has proven to provide beneficial results to TechCXO’s clients in the C-suite.

Kirby founded Winter Media in 2011, providing custom application creation services, information security management and mobile application development to clients across the country. His expertise in managing teams of people to create compelling services and products in a secure environment has proven invaluable to this clients.

Prior to founding Winter Media, Kirby was co-founder, chief operating officer, and chairman of the board of Solar Velocity, LLC. He directed the operations and IT initiatives of Solar Velocity, and provided his considerable expertise to the company’s technology strength. Under his direction, Solar Velocity’s team of design and development experts provided interactive solutions and creative processes to maximize clients’ business growth.

Mr. Winters consulted directly with Solar Velocity clients, including AT&T Wireless, AFLAC, LegalZoom and Morehouse School of Medicine. In 1999, Winters was at the forefront of internet technology services for more than 10 years. He managed a variety of internet and system development organizations within the telecommunications, retail, and banking industries. While working at GTE Wireless (now Verizon Wireless), Winters was responsible for development of the company’s first e-commerce program. Winters holds a business degree in Marketing from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University.
