David Kelley brings over 30 years of financial and operations executive management experience to TechCXO, having served in senior management positions in private and public companies ranging from pre-revenue startups to $2.5 billion in revenues. David has significant experience in software (including SaaS), digital media production services, and mobile technology/applications. David specializes in turnarounds and workouts for companies experiencing those and similar forms of transformation, particularly in the early and later stage businesses.
Prior to joining TechCXO, David founded a CFO advisory services firm where he helped clients in a number of transformative and growth oriented ventures, encompassing strategic initiatives, transactional services, strengthening core processes and personnel, and interim CFO services. During the firm’s six-year existence, David led initiatives as CFO in manufacturing (Eclipse Aerospace, BoatSafe), mobile technology (Conductiv, JustDesire), SaaS and digital media (Bravas Worldwide Zero2Sixty), renewable energy (Zoetic), and consumer products (Bloc Enterprises). Previously, David served as CFO in private equity portfolio companies (avVenta Worldwide, Seaport Companies) as well as divisional CFO at the publicly-held Cendant Corporation, where he guided a variety of technology companies including Cheaptickets, Orbitz, and Travelport as well as franchise and membership businesses within the group.
David began his career as a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and obtained his Masters in Taxation from Seton Hall University’s W. Paul Stillman School of Business.
