Lawson Glenn is a TechCXO Partner and the firm’s subject matter expert for Strategic Alliances. He helps companies overachieve revenue and margin goals with enhanced client satisfaction via strategy alliances.
He has managed global relationships with almost every Tier 1 provider in software, consulting and hardware. These include: Oracle, SAP, consulting firms (Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, IBM, Infosys, PwC, Tata, Wipro); hardware firms (GE; Digital, HP, IBM, Sun Microsystems), as well as numerous boutique software and consulting firms.
Among Lawson’s career highlights:
Strategic Partner Director, GE – Lawson supported GE’s mission of helping global utilities innovate with Digitization, ramped new global partnerships with four of five large Global Consulting firms, focusing on Generation (renewables, nuclear, fossil and hydro), transmission and distribution.
Vice President of Alliances, FATHOM – Lawson enhanced the alliance program. FATHOM’s Smart Grid for Water transforms the municipal water utility industry.
Global Account Manager – Accenture, Informatica – Lawson managed Informatica’s largest global alliance, including: partnership strategy, solutions, GTM sales. Lawson drove the global alliance with Accenture across US, Latin America EMEA and APAC markets.
VP Alliances, Oracle – Lawson rebuilt the partner program for Oracle Utilities and drove alliances with the Top 10 Global System Integrators. Also, as Senior Director, Global Alliances and Global Alliance Manager for Accenture, he helped establish this relationship as the largest in Oracle’s history.
Director Global Alliances – Indus International / TSW International / ABB – Lawson built the partner program from scratch, hardware firms (Digital, HP, IBM, Sun) then ERP (Oracle, expanded Peoplesoft): SI’s Andersen/Accenture, Deloitte, EY, IBM, PwC.
When Lawson isn’t assisting companies build dynamic alliances, he’s helping friends fix their swing as a former golf teaching professional and keeping up on college wrestling, as a former NCAA qualifying wrestler.
Lawson holds a BA from Sewanee – The University of the South, and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.
