Bob Dennen

Robert Dennen is a partner in TechCXO’s Finance and Accounting practice. He is called on by investors, Boards, and senior management teams to leverage his unique combination of financial, strategic, operational, and systems expertise as a fractional CFO.

Bob has served as a fractional CFO for the past seven years for more than 25 companies, primarily in SaaS, Consulting Services, Digital Media, Business Services, and e-Commerce. Bob has helped guide three of his clients through periods of high growth and due diligence to financially successful acquisitions. During his distinguished career, Bob has also served as:

(Interim) CFO, SourceMedia (now Arizent) – SourceMedia, was an $80mm PE-owned, digital media company with advertising/lead generation, subscription and events revenue platforms. Bob’s efforts stabilized the company and allowed it to exceed its Revenue and EBITDA goals. He also successfully on-boarded a new CEO.

CFO, Fahrenheit 212 – Fahrenheit 212 is a global innovation strategy and design firm. Bob led growth in revenue of 300% and personnel of 250% and opened an international office in London. He aslo put in place many new processes and systems. The company’s clients included Coca-Cola, Marriott, and Samsung. F212 was acquired by Capgemini. Bob led the post-merger integration efforts.

His earlier roles included VP of Client Solutions at Navagate, Inc., a CRM software and services company focused on the financial industry, and Managing Director of Enhanced Capital Partners, a venture capital fund. He also held leadership roles with Barnes & Noble and Simon & Schuster. Bob began his career with Accenture.

He holds a BS in Economics, Accounting and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Kerry Byler

Executive Vice President, CFO, Advisory Director for AmeriPro Health – Kerry led finance, accounting, and M&A activities for one of the Fastest Growing EMS and EMS Technology Companies in the U.S.

Managing Director BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners – Kerry accelerated healthcare innovation through strategic venture and private equity investing. He led $305 million in committed capital initiatives across two strategic funds with 24 “Blue” Limited Partners.

In addition, Kerry served as VP for Lehman Brothers Global Private Equity Group, and Partner for Batterson Venture Partners – Momentum Capital Partners, a Venture Capital firm focused on Healthcare, IT, and Business and Consumer Services. Kerry was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence and post-investment growth, as well as business development and fundraising for both funds and portfolio companies. Martha Parker

Eric Froistad

Eric Froistad has had a successful career as a financial executive. He has served in finance and operations leadership roles for public and private companies. He has led early and growth-stage companies through venture capital and private equity transactions, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, private exits, and IPOs.  He works with clients in the software (SaaS, PaaS), financial technologies (fin-tech), and digital content sectors.

He has helped his clients raise multiple rounds of debt and equity capital, negotiated merger agreements and major customer contracts, implemented risk management programs (including cyber risk) and customer billing systems, managed compliance (SAS 70, PCI, HIPAA) and financial audits, developed incentive compensation programs, and managed client accounting/finance departments, among other services.

He served as a partner in the Finance specialty group at TechCXO from 2008 to 2018 before leaving to become CFO/COO of an international medical school, retiring in 2023. He returned to TechCXO as a Principal in March 2023. Prior to TechCXO, he was CFO of TSYS Loyalty, a loyalty technology company in the financial services/card payments sector.  He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co in Denver, rising to the senior manager level before leaving for progressive financial executive positions.

Eric Froistad earned a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado and a CPA license from the State of Colorado.

Dale Kirkland

His activities included account acquisition, credit evaluation, term sheet negotiations, loan closings, treasury solutions, and active networking with venture capitalists, CPAs, attorneys, PR firms, investment bankers, etc. Verticals included SaaS, Hardware, Frontier Tech, Consumer Internet and Fintech companies. TechBridge provides IT consulting, hosting and outsourcing services to hundreds of nonprofits, helping them harness the productivity gains long since enjoyed by the corporate sector, by connecting the needs of nonprofits with the skills and financial resources of the technology community.

Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts is a CFO at TechCXO and covers a wide array of growth-stage companies’ forecasting and capital-raising needs. He came to TechCXO in 2020 from Seven Oaks Company, where he supervised the complete financial operating division with $500 million in assets under management. While in that role, he worked closely with clients and partners in their decisions involving finance and forecasting, accumulating vast experience in modeling for new investment targets and prospective dispositions. Among his previous roles, Andrew spent seven years working at Hines, an international real estate investor/manager, in the two distinct but complementary roles of controllership/asset management and project development. His skills include Accounting, Financial and Strategic Planning, Budget Development, Operational and Financial Forecasting, JV Investment, and Project Management.

Andrew has served as a Board member of the Georgia Chapter of NAIOP, one of North America’s largest commercial real estate organizations. Having served as interim CFO, acting CFO, or part-time CFO for 70 high-growth companies, Jason provides customized services drawing on a breadth of experience leading technology and services platforms to success fiscally and operationally.

Prior to joining TechCXO, Jason was a Co-Founder and the VP-Finance reporting directly to the CEO of a technology-enabled service company where he was responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization. He was a founding shareholder and led a $10 million capital raise that ignited annual revenue growth from $4 million to $25 million.

Jason also founded a software business in the golf industry that was eventually sold to Sequoia Golf Holdings (owner of Canongate golf courses), later acquired by Club Corp Golf. Jason started his career as an Analyst and eventually became Program Mgr at General Electric, where he was involved with new business development and current product growth related to major clients, including Home Depot.

Jason has a BBA degree from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, was a 2-time Team Captain of the Emory Golf Team, was an NCAA All-American in Golf, NCAA Academic All American, and is a lifetime member of MENSA.

Gary Strickland

Gary Strickland is a seasoned financial executive focused on early-stage and venture-backed technology-related companies. Gary has significant experience in software, subscriber-based services, health IT, telecommunications, and professional services. Since joining TechCXO in 2007, Gary has been providing clients with strategic and operational financial management advisory services from capital formation to exit transactions as a part-time CFO in Boston.

After starting his career with Ernst & Young as an audit manager in the Entrepreneurial Services Group, his experiences have ranged from being the seventh employee of a start-up to taking an emerging service provider public on NASDAQ to playing a key financial role for an established NYSE technology company.

Prior to joining TechCXO, Gary was the CFO of SunGard BancWare, a $60M business unit of SunGard Data Systems, Inc., and a $4B global leader in software and processing solutions for financial services, higher education, and the public sector.

As CFO of several technology companies, Gary played an active leadership role in strategic, operational, and financial activities, raising over $150M of equity and debt financings, including taking ZipLink, a provider of wholesale Internet connectivity, public on NASDAQ in Q2 1999. Gary graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1985 and received his CPA Certification in 1989.

Lori Parro

Viraj Parikh

In his 8th year as a TecCXO CFO consultant, Viraj has been a finance executive to over two dozen technology companies, ranging in size from Seed to Series C stage. His emphasis is on financial modeling, capital raising, accrual accounting, cash flow management, pipeline visibility, pricing strategies, dashboard metrics, gross margin expansion, cohort analysis, and financial operations. Prior to TechCXO, Viraj accumulated a rich set of CFO/finance leadership experiences in education finance, real estate, and technology. He also worked for 15 years as a Wall Street portfolio manager and analyst (equity & credit), learning the art of deep research analysis, valuation and risk management across a wide variety of industries. Viraj began his professional career in accounting and consulting at a Big 6 firm.

TechCXO provides experienced C-Level consultants to venture capital and PE-backed portfolio companies, on a fractional or interim basis. Founded in Atlanta in 2003, TechCXO consultants have historically been concentrated along the Eastern Seaboard. Joshua Goldstein

Joshua is a finance executive and fractional CFO who specializes in helping startups and growth companies.

He works with clients on fundraising, financial modeling, KPI development, corporate strategy and investor communications. Companies he has assisted are in the SaaS, e-commerce, e-learning, robotics and footwear/apparel industries. Maturity levels range from pre-seed to Series A and beyond.

Recent engagement highlights include: advising on fundraising rounds in terms of security type, valuation cap and corporate structure; modeling SaaS KPIs such as CAC, LTV and payback period; designing an investor pitch deck that helped a client gain acceptance into an accelerator program. Earlier in his career, he was a buy side equity analyst at Invesco covering the internet and technology sectors.
Joshua has a BA in political science from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He is also a CFA charter holder. As a volunteer, he is an advisor at Georgia State University for the student-run endowment investment class and he serves as lecturer for a portfolio management class.
