THE CHALLENGE

  • Struggled to scale the software up to the level where it needed to be
  • Was in need of a senior technical executive who had a deep insight and knowledge of the US health and telehealth as well as next generation digital services
  • Leadership did not have the resources and bandwidth at the time to put structures in place to  manage processes and tasks alone
  • Lacking strategic experience with mergers and acquisitions.

TECHCXO ENGAGEMENT AS AN ADVISOR TO CEO AND FRACTIONAL CTO:

  • Bryan Dennestedt acted as a fractional CTO and helped UDoTest move to a more efficient technical stack and software vendor, and managed delivery and software updates
  • Established a repeatable process with the development team and development lifecycle to ensure future success and scale
  • Represented UDoTest in all technical aspects of internal and external meetings
  • Conducted a needs assessment to bridge the gap between IT and business practices
  • Helped UDoTest with security assessments and ensured the company passed security audits and due diligence
  • Provided vision, insight, and operational management for UDoTest engineers.

During the process, Bryan realized UDoTest needed additional capital and business development help, so Adam Boris was called upon to act as an advisor to the CEO.

  • Adam introduced the founder of UDoTest to several key stakeholders at leading telehealth companies to assess a capital raise or acquisition
  • Also provided warm introductions to industry-specific venture capitalists and provided instrumental help in acquisition negotiations
  • Gave expert third-party insight into mergers and acquisitions
  • Provided integral checks and balances for departmental heads
  • Provided C-Suite executive coaching during the transaction.

RESULTS

With the rapid growth and demands being placed on the company at that time during the pandemic, both Bryan and Adam were able to provide leadership to foster growth and success efficiently and effectively. Bryan and Adam were able to quickly assess, manage, and deliver a high quality product for the client. Operating as a TechCXO team, they helped UDoTest transition to a new development team and stay flexible and nimble during an unprecedented pandemic. Through the expertise and leadership of Bryan and Adam, UDoTest was successfully acquired by Recuro Health.

“Having both Bryan and Adam on board helped me grow and scale my company…ultimately (leading to) getting acquired…”
