General Manager and Vice President Engineering for ARRIS Retail Division, where he drove annual revenues of $100M and was directly responsible for growing the SURFboard cable modem brand in retail to be #1 most recognizable in North America.  He also led the Telco Broadband CPE R&D organization, an expert technical witness for FBI in USA vs Ryan Harris (aka DerEngel cable modem hacker) and an industry representative at FCC hearings for measuring broadband speeds.

Board Director and Operating Partner for RSA Medical (a BPOC and LEP portfolio company) – James was appointed Independent Board Director by key shareholders, including the Private Equity Healthcare Management firm BPOC. He created a business strategy to identify 3-year revenue growth opportunities and the supporting organizational structure to execute that strategy.  During the investigation phase, Claus uncovered 8% of underutilized direct labor capacity and a lean opportunity to combine multiple work cells into one reducing labor by 30% and cycle time by 80%.

Claus was presented with the Outstanding Volunteer Mentor award for the 2021-2022 academic year by the SUNY New Paltz School of Business for his work helping to advance local businesses and entrepreneurship students. Jessica Young

Covering over $1B in annual revenue with retention/growth accountability.  She managed an annualized budget of $37-45M and staffing complement of 500+ across onshore and offshore operations.  Accomplishments included:

  • Delivered year-over-year operational efficiencies of $30M.
  • Achieved year-over-year improvements in service metrics, NPS, and CSAT scores.
  • Revamped Account Management models. Driving improved retention and new model for small clients, resulting in $10-20M per year in improved retention since 2016.

Vice President, Site Leader – GM, Cigna Health Care – Stephanie managed Cigna’s Southern Region Claim and Call Operations center, for large national clients. This operation covers 1.2 million members, over 1,000 team members, a $38 to $50M operating budget and 250,000 sq. ft. facility.

Vice President, Group Operations – Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina – Stephanie led claim, call, and enrollment and billing operations, exceeding performance guarantees and all performance metrics, including Member Touch Point Metrics (MTM) measures. She also oversaw up to 450 employees handling 900,000 members, with budgets of more than $30M.

Stephanie serves as a business mentor with the Entrepreneurial Center and Launch Nashville groups. She also advises several small businesses and volunteers with the Nashville Rescue Mission and Girl Scouts, USA. Stephanie will be starting her Doctor of Business Administration this fall. President & COO, MEDecision. For this provider of Collaborative Care Management Software and Professional Services in the Managed Care Industry, John:

  • Launched a new strategic plan: propelled the company from $12 million in revenue in 2002 to an industry leader at more than $44 million in 2006 revenue and the company’s IPO in December 2006. Health Care Services Corporation of Chicago acquired the company in August 2008 for $121 million.
  • As President and COO, was responsible for all of MEDecision’s operations processes and departments: built the entire company around the new strategy, growing it from 112 people to more than 240 people.
  • Built the sales team with a new Chief Revenue Officer, the marketing team, the professional services team with a new SVP of services, the development team from a good core with a new CIO, the operations team around an excellent existing CFO.

John was most recently:

CMO, VITAC. VITAC is the leader in Realtime closed captioning, serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities and assists more than 1,500 customers. During his tenure, John

  • Completely overhauled the marketing division and the strategic mission of the company, moving it towards a business captioning service verses network processing only. This caused a shift in new revenues for an expanding product line.
  • Implemented all of the most current marketing automation and tracking tools, as well as defining the sales cycle and providing a collateral architecture to assist sales.
