Michael Boudreau

Michael Boudreau is a partner in TechCXO’s Finance & Accounting practice and supports clients as an interim and fractional CFO and COO. 

Michael applies his knowledge and experience in strategic financial services, debt and equity capital, financial planning, strategy, M&A, and strategic alliances for clients across a broad range of industries, including Healthcare, Insurance, and SaaS. 

During his distinguished career, Michael built his own consulting firm supporting clients, including Health New England, HSA Insurance, Atrius Health, Aarete Inc., and DentaQuest. 

As an executive, he served as:

Chief Financial Officer for SmartKargo – Michael led this airline cargo technology company’s Finance and Accounting, HR, Legal/Regulatory and administrative functions. He directed the firm’s scaling with CAGR of 40+ percent over four years, and average EBIT of 25%. He also led the expansion of the company’s global operations footprint into three new global regions (Brazil, Canada & Mexico), including all legal, financial and human resources set-up and ongoing administration functions. SmartKargo also raised more than $15M in early-stage funding.

Chief Operating Officer for Minuteman Health, Inc. – As a senior executive for this $120 million commercial health insurance company, Michael was in charge of all multi-state operational functions as well as network contracting and analytics, risk management, product management, corporate reporting analytics, facilities management, and the finance and human resources functions. He directed the firm through an average annual enrollment growth rate in excess of 300%, reaching 38,000 members across both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Ametros Financial Corporation – Michael was responsible for all aspects of this startup firm’s operational, financial, and sales support activities, including frequent interaction and presentations to the firm’s private equity partner, The Clarion Group. He led the firm through 300% growth without additional staffing, resulting in 75% reduction in cash burn rate.

Michael has also held leadership positions with Fish & Richardson, BMC HealthNet Plan, and Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS).

Kerri Anthony

Head of People, Flipboard – Kerri managed a team of 5 overseeing people operations, culture, talent acquisition, and total rewards (i.e. benefits, comp, etc.) for this VC-backed digital media platform. Flipboard received more than $200M in funding. As a member of and key advisor to the executive team, Kerri provided counsel on people strategy, talent management, and organizational design. Kerri also spearheaded training programs, employee engagement surveys, and led change management initiatives for improved efficiency.

Head of People, Presence Learning – Kerri built out the People function and managed recruiting, people ops, and administration during the rapid growth phase at this leading-edge teletherapy provider to K-12 schools. She evaluated and implemented a new HRIS system and built company engagement and recruiting metrics. She partnered closely with the leadership team on organizational design, retention, employee engagement and employee relations issues.

Senior Director, People, The Weather Channel –  Kerri was responsible for setting up Weather Underground’s HR systems and processes prior to its sale to Weather Channel. She worked closely with the M&A team and was hired by Weather Channel after the sale to head up workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and process improvement.

HR Director / Strategic Business Partner, Walmart.com – Kerri was the first senior HR generalist hired to help build the HR infrastructure from the ground up. During her 6.5 year tenure, she continued to build the infrastructure necessary to scale the organization to over $1.5B and 500 employees. Kerri managed a three-person team of business partners and advised on employee relations issues, talent review, recruiting, organizational design, compensation, people development, general policies and legal compliance.

Kerri also served in HR leadership functions with Evite, Turner Broadcasting Systems (TBS) and McCann-Erickson Worldwide.

An alumnus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor’s in Communications, Kerri’s loves include traveling the world, gastronomy, pilates, hiking, concerts, and making memories with her four boys (including the furry one).

Rajiv Bhagat

Dan Benetz

Dan Benetz is TechCXO partner within the firm’s Finance Practice.  He assists start-ups and fast-growth companies as an operationally-focused CFO. He primarily focuses on firms in the Technology, Manufacturing, Life Science/Biotech and AI spaces, as well as SaaS businesses in Digital Healthcare, Digital Transformation and Education Technology. Dan spends his time in both Nashville and California.

CFO, Xsolis Inc., Xsolis is a Digital Healthcare SaaS company using predictive AI to eliminate waste in the healthcare ecosystem between providers and payers. Dan helped close a significant round of private equity as well as scale up financial reporting.

CFO, The Tugboat Group. Tugboat Ventures and Tugboat Institute, a CEO-membership organization focused on building Evergreen businesses (without VC or PE funding). Dan worked on investment models, capital optimization, operational KPIs and evaluation tools to help businesses benchmark performance across various scales and industries.

CFO at NuGEN Technologies. NuGEN was a  provider of Genomics sample preparation solutions enabling scientists to access true biology in all samples.  Dan helped NuGEN expand operations internationally to serve Pharma, Diagnostic and Academic researchers worldwide. Dan worked to secure funding for the business to scale, as well as handle a significant technology replacement cycle in the Genomics market. Dan applied business analysis and modeling, go-to-market strategies, capital efficiency, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions to help the firm’s success.

Dan’s public company experience was with Affymetrix, a mid-market Life Science business where Dan worked in Corporate and International finance and contributed in various areas, including: SEC reporting, Sarbanes Oxley, financial systems, financial planning and analysis and management reporting, as well as international business and tax.  Dan began his career at Intel Finance, where he worked in various roles across corporate finance, supply chain, microprocessor pricing & competitive analysis, Intel Capital, new businesses and M&A.
